Local or Global, I would prefer Glocal Junction! Whether
to have a well spend a beautiful
afternoon or to party at night like never before, Indiranagar certainly has few
places to meet your expectations. Glocal Junction located at 12th Main, Indiranagar is one such place. Glocal Junction never
fail to impress its patrons when its come to their locally customized global food
menu, drinks, ambiance, and service.
Glocal Junction has come up with a new food menu
recently and on a lazy weekend afternoon,
some of us went to try the new menu. They have also introduced a Sunday brunch
and the spread is pretty good.

Both vegetarian and non-vegetarians, especially carnivores’
eaters like me will enjoy the food here. Their menu is a blend of local and global
cuisines. So there is something to impress any kinda palate. I will surely go
back for the ‘Cheese and Chicken bombs’, ‘Beef Chilli’, ‘Dynamite Prawns’, ‘Tokri chaat ’ and ‘Meat Ultimo Pizza’. These dishes
were very impressive. The other starters were also good, but not impressive as
the favorite ones.

We tried a couple of cocktails as well. Each one of us
had a different preference for the base
and hence we got to try some really interesting cocktails.

Along with food, the company of foodies also matters.
We discussed each and every dish which came to our table. Kachapuri sounded
like a North Indian dish but it was a beautiful and flavorful Georgian delicacy.
Coorg Pandi curry bunny chow was good. I wouldn’t mind a spicy version of it on
my next visit to Glocal. Soya Kheema Pav was bang-on. The surprising flavors from
‘Rice Congee Risotto with Soya Grilled Fish’ and ‘Biryani Risotto’ were great examples
of the incorporation of local and global cuisines. Biryani Risotto was from the
old menu.
Desserts
Red velvet cheesecake – Who can say no this beauty?
Red Velvet Cheesecake with frosting is a good option if you can’t keep your
sweet cravings away.
I couldn’t resist when I spotted Kalkatta paan
cheesecake, cupcakes and Baked yogurt at
the brunch counter. These were from the old
menu.
Overall I was so pleased to try some of the delectable
dishes from the new menu. I will surely recommend this place to people who like
to spend quality time in this part of
town. A meal for two would be ₹1500/- (approximately).
