Review- Wareabouts Grill & Lounge

Wareabouts Grill & Lounge, Marathahalli

Last year on my hubby’s birthday, I took him to a newly opened restaurant in Indiranagar and both of us didn’t like the food much. So this time I carefully selected the place, which I was sure my hubby will like it. Actually he loved the place. It's Wareabouts, Marathahalli. Surrounded by IT Tech parks, multiplexes and shopping malls this convivial place has got endless attractions. To name few, I love the ambience, rooftop lounge, live-grill, hanging lights, wooden furnitures, and polite and attentive staffs.

We went on a Thursday afternoon and quite surprised to see the crowd. Later we realized it’s a regular affair for them. Wareabouts steals the crowd with their awesome spread of North Indian, Mediterranean and European cuisine with an option to choose from Grill or a la carte menu. Also it’s a great place to hangout with friends for brunch with awesome drinks. I have been to Wareabouts for a group meetup about a month back and couldn’t take any pictures or write a review earlier.

Wareabouts live-grill menu keeps changing and by looking at the people who were fully indulged in food, we also opted for the same. Service was very quick with wonderful grill dishes on our table. The aplomb staff won’t allow you to take a break by offering wide variety of scrumptious starters. Eat till you drop is their policy and we followed the same. The kind of place you would go back again for the love of food and good cheer :) Thanks to Anurag, Sristhi and Chef Pritam for making our day so special.

A meal for two approximately costs around Rs.1500 (including drinks). Some of the must try dishes which I have tried:
In starters- Lemon Butter Prawns, Grilled Mushrooms with caramelized Onion, Murg Anar Tikka, Roasted Chilli-Garlic Chicken wings, Moroccan Grilled Fish, Crispy Corn, Achaari Ghosht Sheekh
Main course – Coffee infused Bhuna Ghosht, Kothameer Kodi(Corriander Chicken), Chicken Biriyani, Hakka noodles, Spinach and Sweet Corn bake, Hingwali Dum Aloo

Desserts- Apple Jilebi, Paan ki Rasmalai, Apple Cinnamon Phirni, Shahi Tukda

Cocktails- Samba Tango (If you like it spicy), Pota Pota, Just Do Me (Shot)
P.S: When you visit the restaurant, don’t forget to meet the man who creates the wonderful dishes- Chef Pritam Das. Do give him your feedback.
