Do you think gourmet food is experienced only in premium restaurants? I would consider gourmet food indulgence when I experience extraordinary or high-quality food. Middle Eastern cuisine is vast and it's much beyond Al-faham/ Mandi/ Kabsa/ Shawarma which is very common these days. Recently I visited a beautiful Cafe at Koramangala named Cafe Zubaan. This cafe has relaxing vibes with soothing music, handpicked collection of books, framed quotes on feminism, and a stunning ambiance with traditional Arabic tiles.
Some of my favorites and must-try dishes - Cold Mezzeh platter (which consists of Mutabal, Labneh, Baba ganoush, Tabbouleh, Hummus, Fattoush, and Pita bread), Muhammara (Roasted bell pepper and walnut spread), Grill platter, Shish Tawook, Baleelat (sweetened vermicelli), and Baklava.
Refreshing drinks to try -Habbat Al Hamra (traditional custard drink), Saudi Champagne.
Creative minds will enjoy spending time in this aesthetic cafe. The meticulously trained staff serve customers with the utmost care by taking all the safety measurements. Pop in to see the kind of Arabian spread they serve at this wonderful Cafe.
