New menu at OKI, Bengaluru!

When you visit a restaurant which you were planning to dine since long time, the excitement level will be double. Recently I have been to OKI restaurant at K'hattan (Kammanahalli) to check out their new menu. OKI specializes in Pan Asian, mainly Korean, Japanese, Thai and Malaysian along with other cuisines like European. This cute little place has an interesting menu which makes this one of the popular restaurants in that area. The staffs at OKI is helpful and polite. 

Summer afternoons are incomplete without chilled beverages. So soon after reaching the restaurant, I ordered a Chilli Mango mocktail which tasted good.

They have a lovely selection of salads and we really enjoyed the bold flavours from the 'Burmese Tealeaf Salad with roasted nuts and lentils' and also the #instafriendly 'Duck and peach salad with mix berry olive dressing'.

From the small eats menu, 'Garlic bread with smoked Salmon dill pate topped with roe', 'Crostini with Peach berry sauce and Feta', 'Tofu, bacon and scallion fritters with sweet chilli sauce', and 'Gimbap prawns with mustard sauce' were simply amazing. I will surely go back for these.

For the main course, I had 'Grilled Tiger Prawns with sauteed veggies in creamy lemon caper sauce'. This dish had execellent flavors except the fact that I don't really enjoy frozen prawns in any dish.

Every group will have that one or two foodies who can't end their meal without desserts. So we shared one 'Peach Cinnamon apple crepes with Orange butter sauce'. This was vanished in no time. Fruits and spices (especially cinnamon) are match made in heaven. Isn't it ?

Overall I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at OKI and would visit again for great food and good service. If you get a visa for K' hattan, then do visit this lovely restaurant for a great meal.
