Kalmane Koffee was started 12 years back by the 4th generation coffee growers, Mr. Avinash Prabhu and Mr. Dhiraj Prabhu from Kalmane Estate, Chikmagalur who wanted to promote a superior quality coffee in the domestic market. This wonderful thought resulted in 11+ outlets in three major cities - Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai. They have the most premium range of coffees including Kaapi Samrat and Kaapi Premium. Blue Grass filter coffee is the best seller which is a classic blend of high grown coffee and chicory in the ratio of 80:20. Their premium ones such as Mysore Nuggets, Peaberry Premium, and Harmony are shade grown in high altitudes. Blue Grass, Crescendo, and Calypsos are the classic blends. Peaberry coffee has a very strong taste and intense aroma with 20% chicory.
